About Me.
Hi! My name is Sohan Basak and I am an engineer. Technology has always been a passion of mine from a young age – I started coding when I was just 14 years old, and my love for technology has only grown stronger since then.
I have experience working with various programming languages such as Python, Javascript, C++, Java, Rust and Golang. Additionally, I have also worked with distributed systems and databases including MongoDB and MySQL.
Creating products is something that really excites me – whether it’s coming up with new ideas or bringing existing ones to life. And of course, learning about science & tech (and everything else in the cosmos!) is something that will never stop fascinating me.
And in case you're wondering... yes - playing the guitar AND reading books are two of my favorite pastimes 😁

I am currently working for Amazon in the Alexa Sensitive Content Intelligence team. My tech stack includes primarily Python, Java and Typescript. Our team heavily uses containerisation, and we use AWS extensively.

Eder Labs is trying to solve a very challenging problem of bringing trust in Data Science. From Federated learning, Differential privacy to ETL, we discussed various things and worked on very challenging technologies. Tech stack was primarily Python, Vue, Terraform, Auth0 and Gitlab CI/CD.

Signzy works primarily in the FinTech and RegTech industry, and I have worked on several projects there, from Current Account onboarding to in-house APIs to making Video KYC product, and making hundreds of integrations in the process, we pulled of some really amazing things there.
